It's between Embiid and Steph for me. If Steph can carry the Warriors to a top five seed in the West he deserves it. He's putting up godly numbers and if you watch Warriors game you'd know they play like a top three worst team in the NBA without him. If Steph can't carry them to AT LEAST the fifth seed then it's Embiid.

Okay I’m sorry but Bron shouldn’t be in the mvp talk this year. Embiid is on a mission, he’s averaging nearly 30 and 12 and his team is on top of the east and you gon tell me that Bron is even in this debate?? Get that outta here Embiid is taking that trophy.

    Embiid,Harden,Curry,jokic,lillard
All these guys are ahead.of Lebron, But the media are more interested in pushing him to win, so they Can call him the goat,Lebron all he's carrier can't win without help or superstar.

Right now? Joel Embiid. Stephen A Smith is stupid to even suggest that KD should be MVP when he is playing with two other MVP caliber players and isn't putting up the same numbers. If LeBron play harder and manages to land his team in the playoffs at a high seed without AD, there should be no debate that he is MVP, in that case. For now, the Lakers are losing, and that's not really his fault, but doesn't change the fact they are losing.

Just because Lebron is 36 and the best player in the league does not mean he's the mvp, if the NBA wants to shove Leflop down our throats they should make it the player of the year award. Embiid, Jokic, Dame, and Steph all arguably have cases for MVP, it's kinda dumb how team record matters so much for the award imo. If the best player on the best team wins mvp, is he really more valuable than someone like Steph who is the only one keeping his team relevant?

Joel Embiid-less sixers are a lottery team (1-5) while Lebronless Lakers are still a playoff team imo... so, Embiid is more valuable. Keep in mind MVP and the best player are two very different things. I don't quite think Embiid is the best player in the league rn (coming from a fan) but he's surely up there.

I aint a hater but Lebron shouldnt even be top 3 right now. He is getting all the hype from the media and thats it. he aint in the convo.
KD, curry, jokic, and embiid are all ahead of him. Everybody is saying that its lebrons 18th season, well guess what MVP isnt based on age. Whats more impressive is coming off probably the worst injury in basketball like KD has and putting up MVP numbers. Embiid is better in every way right now, has better stats both offensively and defensively and has a better team record. Embiid is the frontrunner. CUrry is putting up better numbers then lebrons as well and is completely carrying his team. Without curry the warriors would be a 15th seed. Jokic is putting up better numbers as well. if yall dont agree then yall at least got to agree that he definitely aint the frontrunner.

Embiid is clearly the MVP. Dude is putting up 30 and 10+, we haven't seen a center that dominate since Shaq. His efficiency is off the charts, he is above Bron in all efficiency categories. His advance analytics are off the charge. Leading the league in PER, etc. Philly is 2 games behind the Lakers right now and place people didn't anticipate them being. The only place Bron has him in is the fact Embiid has missed 6 games, but I'm not going to double penalize Embiid. His team is 1-5 in those games, so that already works against him in the record column.
