Watson is a malcontent i wouldnt want someone like him on my team
dustin stollberg
I feel stupid for clicking on this. Everyone in there's takes were the least informed/ thought through I've heard in weeks. They had to sell the Houston won't trade. Kimberly apparently drew the short stick on taking the dumb take. Won't fall for these clicks again.
Benjamln Lewis
U've got the Best Offensive Mind N Football.
N Offensive Coordinator Eric B of the KC
Chiefs. They hire someone without talking 2 him n David Culey as Coach. Then give him a first time GM. The get rid of his Deep Threat n the top 5 Receiver n the NFL.
Get out D. Watson. U'll b come their scapegoat. JJ Watts is gone Hopkins.
Stay out of Chicago 2 man 2 COLD.
Poorhouz
I agree with you Mike.. Eventually they should just trade him and get it over with... But I would see if he shows up 1st.. it's his money not there's... And I want maddd picks so whatever team he goes to he'll look dumb if he doesn't do well.
Poorhouz
So if the front office has been messy.. Why did he sign a contract there?? Then a month later say he wants to leave.. Ohhh I know why he did it.. Because any other team now has to pay him.. That's bad business bro,.. be careful what you ask for Deshaun... and they always get hurt after nonsense like this... mark my words..Peace Stay Up
Kei Gotti
They not gonna believe deshaun isn’t playing for the Texans anymore until the trade happens huh
Brian Plescovich
Got some inside info. He's going to Carolina.
Mike Ellisor
Cause they have AJ, period. Plus the Texans can get a bunch of good players for him. Plus the Man DOES NOT want to be in Houston.
MistaTofMaine
Watson talented, but I question his character. Just signed new deal now wants to be a crybaby because he doesn't get to play GM. Guy is way to young and has done nothing. If he is really so good Texans should have had more than 4 wins. I think his number bit inflated as well considering how much garbage time he played in; easier to ball out when you're already so far behind that the D is playing lax. Not saying he is bad, but I'd be very leery.
mustluvreggae
Then trade this bad character. For 3rd round. Release him and try get back some of that signing bonus. Afterall Wentz with his big contract was traded for minimal
ralph rogers
Fake injury and sit out a year. Still get paid
Ebony Lady
It doesn't work that way in the NFL. Unlike the NBA, a team physician would have to clear him to play and if he chooses to sit then they can go after the money.
Jrg Vsqz
The media is so thirsty for trades. Deshaun promised Houston a championship. He has to keep his promise. After all. Isnt that what he's mad about.
R
Deshaun wants out i don’t blame him he’s in his prime and Texans management sucks
Xxxx Big Rich
Watson is not showing up. Trade him now. I've been saying this since this started they are gonna make Watson out to be the villain here! That's a shame!
Warren Buffet
He Isn’t A Fa Until 2028 He Return Before Than
Nick Will
Stupid to have a QB who don’t want to be there and I’m sure deshaun don’t show up to camp then what
Boss Lax316
Well they wouldn't trade him unless they didn't have a choice.
Tom Eagen
She is fine
Lawrence A. KEAL III
T H let's be real. The non-inclusion of Deshaun in hiring folks is not the basic problem. We all know that racism, insensitivity, and that old world attitude are the basic troubles between Deshaun and the higher ups. Stop sugar coating and put the truth of the matter out !
Acaica Yeti410
Who cares what these four people think😂😂😂😂
Steelers Nation
Pittsburgh getting him next year after Ben retires
Donald Washington
I like it when it comes to certain people when you talking about trades is anybody else y'all be all up in there about trying to get them out of town
Joey KeepsitReal
The Houston Texans needs pull the trigger with a trade before the NFL draft and try not to gamble because it looks like Deshaun Watson is willing to pull a Carson Palmer....
Ebony Lady
Well, DeShaun accepted the contract and there's no way that he didn't notice the problems within the franchise. They own his player rights and have no legal obligation to grant his request. Let what happen to Watson serve as a reminder that you need to look beyond money when it comes to your future because you just might end up stuck for life.
Darren Wilson
@raiders Trade Mariota and cleiln Ferrell a quarterback and a defensive end both of what Houston needs plus a first round draft pick this year and a second next year to Houston for Watson then Trade Carr for two first rounds and a third to bears or Washington 👍
JUDALATION gamestrodamous
HE SAYS HE WE WANTS OUT....CASE CLOSED...JUST SELL THE TEAM YOU IDIOTS.....DONT WAIST ANOTHER YEAR OF THIS BLACK MANS LIFE .
Ebony Lady
No, the case is not closed because I wouldn't trade him either. He signed the contract and his race has no part in what happened to him. He didn't think beyond the contract.
Dysun
No one cares that Greenberg likes the Jets, get over yourself
Meme Dog
They had a team in the pass that was a Super Bowl contenter but they traded their best players out now they already losing team because management in the front office
jones senior
He’s a grown man not a kid put some respect on our African American brothers their not kids young man is a better statement
zooie 72
Too bad he signed a contract, now the team has the leverage. If the team plays hardball, he won't sit out and sacrifice money and stats.
James Sykes
NY Jets forget Watson and say hello to Trey Lance!! Get the lineman or best player wt the 2nd!! Move up to get Lance from the 23rd!!
ERIC HAVNEN
Watson is a PATHETIC crybaby who isn't worthy to scrub my toilets!!!
Mike Hawkins
He signed contract i would refuse to trade him let him ruin his career if he wants
Mike Hawkins
@Lisa Green lol no no one has go back to ur basement if u have one
Lisa Green
@Mike Hawkins must have never heard of me?
Mike Hawkins
@Lisa Green his contract is 150 million u will never make that much if u live to be 160
Lisa Green
@Mike Hawkins I don’t know how rich you plan on being but speak for yourself
Mike Hawkins
@Lisa Green he shouldn't have signed contract then contract for more money then u and me will make in lives combined
Vaughn Miller
It's no surprise but it's still hard to get used to hearing these individuals talk double standards when it comes to black players, especially quarterbacks. Black quarterbacks are supposed to get over it, Whatever It Is. Never liked Hasselback as a player even less as a commentator. He's a low-key hater.
mustluvreggae
@Ebony Lady Wentz is not old. Was almost mvp candidate few years back... also has big contract
Vaughn Miller
@Ebony Lady Who are the quarterbacks you are talkin about and what situation were they in?
Ebony Lady
Hater? Because he won't give in to emotional talking points. DeShaun is a grown man and made his choice. The other qbs that were traded had a capable back up or they were getting old.
Andres Caiced
Shouldnt? This mans not gonna play if he aint traded. Watson clearly doesnt want to play in Houston ever again. Trade him
Saquell Brooks
I have been telling ppl as a jets fan, Houston is going to botch this and end up getting nothing. The moment I heard what they were asking for I knew immediately they’re purposely sabotaging this. I hope they end up getting nothing in return. Because he doesn’t have to take any snaps for them.
Mike Jr
NFL teams will always need good qbs
Shawn D. Dawkins
They should trade him he doesn't want to be there. Watson is a good quarterback he is used to winning in college at Clemson, it's time for him to get a chance to win man .
Shawn D. Dawkins
@Mike Jr That's your stance on it , you can stand on that but I ain't say that because that doesn't always happen but for WATSON he should wanna get TRADED and oh by the way I am a Steelers fan so I can say WATSON deserves to win and NO i'm not saying he is coming to the Steelers.
Mike Jr
Yeah so every good QB on a bad team should be traded
NPAMike
Deshaun Watson should do what Jay Cutler did in Denver. Show up but not actually show up mentally. First sign of injury drag it out. It will kill the Texans when the QB who is essentially the leader is giving up on the season.
NPAMike
@Ebony Lady there was no injury im saying he faked it to get traded.
Ebony Lady
No chance because McDaniels tried to trade Cutler behind his back so Jay had the leverage. There was no injury involved.
Jay King
Either trade him or shut up about it that's all that has been on espn for over a month
Kevin Johnson
Hasselbeck is a typical crappy old thinking owner force him to play because it shouldn't be such a big deal bc new leadership is here. The owner didn't sell the team easterby is still there with input. In what situation in anything does a disgruntled employee work out not hardly. They should cut there losses and try and rebuild with a great number of draft picks. The alternative is being terrible with him and wasting his career because of pride and some catastrophic mistakes made in the football world, but again this is what the Houston Texans are a poorly run organization.
Ebony Lady
Watson wasted his own career and owners are in the business of selling tickets
Skairipa
I like how for the past 2 weeks there saying how they need to trade Watson then now there saying how they shouldn’t trade watson
Josh
He needs to leave that Slaughter house (Texans Organization)
Michael Mills
The Eagles front office has to be elated that another organization is imploding worse than they are! Fire Howie all the same though.
TheKidFromCleveland
You let go of Watt. You Are Done. Just blow the team to smithereens and embrace your new title of Professional Footballs S***hole you'll be back next decade. But yeah 2020s are done for you. Nowhere to go but up.
1986
I wonder how the Texans Front Office think that any top 10 QB in the draft would want to play for them.... they are paying attention. I suspect the next qb the texans get will soon grow disgruntled I the future
Mister Myself
People act like they just woke up one morning and thought about trading him.
TEXANS CREATED THIS MESS. The people that created it are still there and you dont get to screw everything up and start making demands.
This is a time to mitigate your losses. You have to trade him. Stop creating the messes to begin with.
If you drop the cake, save the plate but you have to clean up and get rid of it, there is no other way.
Eric Mendiola
This lady is horrible on TV. There has to be someone you can find that is way better than her.
uTubeDat
JJ to the Browns and Watson for Baker and 2or3 picks perfect swapping...
Randy G
That doesn't make any sense, Deshaun has made it clear he's wants to leave Houston, would even consider sitting out the season if that's what it takes... keeping someone on your roster who doesn't want to be there is pointless. Trade the man and start over from scratch
Freddy Gaulman
He'll never sit out
Youngboy J
The Jets don’t have any weapons for deshaun
Mitchell Ajieroh
They got cap space and he’s a FA magnet
Tim Decker
They need to get Kimberly off the show she sucks
ROCKWELL X
STOP! opressing Deshaun Watson...jaja!
Its like encouraging a man to stay in his, abusive relationship.
"They just want him to fail!"
Biglilstan The Slasher
Hasselback thinking that it’s only the hiring of the GM is laughable. That may have been the straw to break the camels back; but everyone knows it’s something bigger. That’s why the Assistant GM Quite, PR instructor quite, Deshaun wants out, JJ got out, and GM was fired. There is a bomb of news in the Texans organization that they are trying their hardest to control.
bob bib
imagine if you was married and you said i want a divorce and your significant other was NO im not trading you .these guys wont be happy until he pulls a kawhi Leonard and fakes it ALL season he gets paid they waste a year of there fans time
bob bib
@FIU Student yea he messed up for sure and that might be the reason they can hold out hope it dont happen
FIU Student
Well its different here. Its like wanting a divorce right after he signed the marriage papers. (He signed contract with Texans a few months ago)
Anthony Taylor
Wait.......the Texans want a stud QB....what if the Cardinals reunite Hopkins and Watson. Kyler is a stud...not equal to Watson but not many people are. Kyler, who is younger, with draft compensation...not bad.
vondior
When they can’t paint him as a bad QB
they’ll question his character, even that they can’t touch. What else is new
FIU Student
vondior: they should question his character- unless if he signs with the Miami Dolphins. Otherwise screw him
Mitchell Ajieroh
@Sho'Nuff Easterby has some people brainwashed but at least the people who AREN’T idiots know the reality of the situation
Quarantine-Carpenter-Builds
@Sho'Nuff who cares about the fans, the power of the media is on his side.
Sho'Nuff
@Quarantine-Carpenter-Builds there are some fans in Houston that aren't. Calling him a selfish diva
Quarantine-Carpenter-Builds
no body has done that, everyone is on Watson's side
J. Wadley
He'll sit out if the team doesn't trade him. These experts just need to focus on the owner for foolishly promising Watson input in the hiring. Unless the owner is no longer there, the team can forget about seeing Watson again. Trade him now.
Freddy Gaulman
@J. Wadley I agree but it but it's gotta be the right player. It can't be a bunch of draft picks that may or may not pan out.
J. Wadley
@Freddy Gaulman We'll see. I think it will be a matter of principle. Houston will blink first.
Freddy Gaulman
@J. Wadley Watson's desire to play football is worth more to him than sitting out over an entire season. Look back at the players who thought sitting out would work...
Freddy Gaulman
@J. Wadley no one outside of the dolphins has any weapons that Houston can plug in now and start contributing right away. Everybody talkin about draft picks is dumb, 70% of draft picks won't make it pass 3 years on their teams.
J. Wadley
@Freddy Gaulman The Texans are making it complicated. I expect him to sit out -- and then it will be the Texans who won't get the same compensation that they can get now by waiting beyond the draft or start of the season.

If Watson doesn't want to play for thecTexana, let that MAN go so he can play ball where he's happy
Cesar Mercedes
Why should they the Texans paid him they did right by him if Watson does not want to play then retire.
Jack Ryan
Deshaun does not care about "Houston"... he cares about 'people'. That man wants out of Houston. Anybody living in Houston feels his pain.
Leo The Hero
And that's the problem

Ryan pace always moves in silence that’s all I’m saying
ASMR ANONYMOUS GAMING
Texans are ok with being trash for a couple years that's why they're ok with him sitting out and not trading him.
Raees
If they get top picks in the draft players will just John elway or Eli manning rather than playing for a franchise that cant keep its best players
Michael Isaac
Then why keep him if they’re ok with being trash atleast get some draft picks to improve a already broken team
S.M.
Texas SJW Armageddon....
Texans trade Watson and hire a white quarterback.
Eryk Crawley
Houston does not Like DeSean Watson. There are multiple games I watched and the comintators didn't even say his name. JERKS .Get out DeSean get out.
MrJDuro
Double standard when talking about black quarterbacks. Texans should trade him. He has no interest in representing the "Texans" again.
BossPlayer MFS
Watson needs to be traded the saying “Houston we have a problem “ couldn’t no more truer than right now. It’s a lot of crazy 💩 that’s going on in that organization and they let JJ Watt go at his request so give Desean Watson that same gratitude with a trade, trade him to the Denver Broncos.
Joe Ori
Watt has been there for 10 years and towards the end of his career and Watson has only been there for four years and have one more year on his rookie contract. Plus releasing Watt saves $17,000,000 in cap space. 🍎 and 🍊
oogabooga72
This dude should forfeit his new contract and be released
Stealing fans' money ain't cool
Devon Young
Hasslebeck says they need to get past the issues...Watson has NO desire to get over anything...what does it matter if the management gets over something...
Michael Parker
If he’s not traded before the draft, you’re no different then when you had O’Brien at coach and GM. There are teams interest that are guaranteed top ten picks in the draft. Trade him after and you’re gambling on when those draft picks will be.
Galacksi
I mean cool but what if he doesn't show up to work
joe martin
If they do not trade him he could not play to his full potential and merely hands the ball off to the running back everytime........and get paid and not injured.......what then?....
Jamie Thomas
If he goes anywhere other than Miami the move won’t be about winning. That’s the only team that can afford to give up everything it’ll take to get him and still have a good team in place
Raheem X
Deshaun doesn't want to play for a racist organization, simple. TRADE HIM OR HE WILL SIT OUT!
Andres Caiced
People love to misuse the word "racist" i swear.
Freddy Gaulman
Too bad you didn't have the thought til a year ago
Sir Hoopalot
That same racist organization that gave him 200 mill
MinePlay 512
Don't forget that the Texans releasing J.J. Watt is making the situation worse. Cutting your team's best defender will never help.
Fire Blood
Get passed it? He specifically didn’t want the Texans to hire the dude that’s the gm😂 like he had some suggestions but he said specifically he didn’t want another patriots cast off. And they did it anyway. How is the dude who he didn’t want, gonna move past it?
C A P
@Deep Learning but you "as the owner" promised to listen to him. You broke your promise, thus you dont deserve any respect or loyalty from me
Fire Blood
@zooie 72 I believe your characterization of the general manager as a “business” role is still misguided. It’s essentially part of the game side. They are operating under a hard salary cap that is a small fraction of the actual business costs and profit lines. An rb’s contract being for 4 or 10 M’s is significant to the player and a diff of 6M’s is probably more money than the average person sees in a lifetime for sure. But it’s nothing to an nfl franchises bottom line, and has little do with “business”. I think you are falling for certain employer employee hierarchy stereotypes that you are both misapplying and are irrelevant. Sales of number 4 jerseys with watsons name on them are more important and generate more revenue than the gm. Watson is the more important person in good scenario, and that management employee stereotype doesn’t apply here because the Texans asked him for his input.
zooie 72
@Fire Blood by roster input I mean like he wants a WR or a certain type of RB, not how much players will get paid or how long their contract is.
Fire Blood
@zooie 72 you just said they should have say in the roster. Now they should stay out of it because “it’s business”? You are contradicting yourself. Beyond what you believe players should do, it’s not the reality of the situation, because the Texans asked for his input. And then did the exact thing he asked them not to. Now sad hasselback is saying the guy who Watson expressly asked not to be hired should attempt to “get passed it” with him. Get passed his hiring? Lol. Tough ask.
zooie 72
@Fire Blood Roster moves, coaching hires, and contract negotiations are all about business decisions. That's where the players have to stay out of.
PG
espn is a complete joke these days lol
Edmond Honda
It's a poorly run franchise. He should definitely not play for them.
Mad Mike
The Texans should trade him and if they Don’t. The Texans front office in the history of all sports is the worst of all time in my generation ( I’m 27 years old)
Ty D
Panthers fans: “stfu😐”
Soham Dharap
he may go there that's what my gut feeling is telling me & no I'm not a panthers fan I'm a Broncos fan that's y I'm keeping up with the Watson rumors constantly to see what happens but we won't find out till draft day or regular season cuz that's when the Texans will be asking for less & not as much as it would be right now
Ty D
@Uģis Bedeicis it means shut the f up
Uģis Bedeicis
What is stfu?
Kweks
ESPN need to trade Tim far far away.
madboyreadynow28
Why ESPN needs to stop running fake story lines.
Luka Doncic
I hope Watson doesn’t go to the practices
Hydra Dominatus
Lol don't trade him. Crybabies shouldn't be rewarded in football.
Sweet Brotha Numpsay
Tim sounds racist. Why do yall love tellin black folk what we should get over. Why wasn't he tellin Tom to get over it with bill
Sweet Brotha Numpsay
@Joe Ori so it's not racist but there owner is one of the biggest known racist and he didn't hire a black coach which is what Watson wanted. Specifically KCs OC. So yeah
Joe Ori
I don't think it is a race issue, the Texans know they have a generational talent at quarterback and they are not going to give that up just because he requests a trade after signing a $160,000,000 extension. He hasn't even given the new GM and head coach a chance.
Sweet Brotha Numpsay
@Matt Hancock it's not. Thats what I mean you don't think for yourself. Most jobs you can leave if you don't like your job, go to HR and complain etc. Also this is an entertainment business. They are paying for his services. He no longer wants to offer them to him so like most adults when that happens they go find another option. Your too ignorant to continue to engage with so have a good 1.
Matt Hancock
@Sweet Brotha Numpsay it is one-sided as in any job the people paying are the ones with control
Matt Hancock
@Sweet Brotha Numpsay like I said tom didn't have to finish out a contract he was at the end of his he also has been in the league for way longer and has already won they are not comparable at all
RicoSuaVe
I'm a Texans fan and although I love Watson, I'd trade him. His value is threw the roof and I just want to see the man win and be happy. Texans organization will have a cloud over its head as long as the McNairs' are in the driver's seat.
Woke AF
Caserio symbolizes racism to Watson, nothing more, nothing less. The Texans refused 2 equally qualified black candidates, two professional recommendations, to get who they wanted. So that isn't an asset to him.
And they got a guy who clearly is not head coach material, or else he wouldn't have been a lesser coach for almost 30 years. He hasn't been a head coach for a reason. He was the only one sorry enough to take this job
maurice456
If you think the gm choice is the only issue, you haven’t been paying attention
Connor Kenway
Watson has nothing against Caserio he doesn’t even know him. His issue is with Cal McNair and Jack Easterby, both of whom will not be going anywhere. So Deshaun is making sure he’ll be the one leaving
Kim Edison
exactly. They don't get it. The Texans are a dysfunctional organization, regardless if new management is hired.
Woke AF
This is EXACTLY the same situation the Rockets had with James Harden
Is this a guy you want as the your franchise rep, if he hates the team, and doesn't want to be there?
Do you want him coming to work, only to run down the team, and generate bad media and bad energy?
Harden always comes to work and play hard. He stopped doing that this season, and they had to move him
Ian G
@AJ 24 Correct. Harden and Watson are completely different situations.
AJ 24
Except Watson isn't an entitled, narcissistic diva.
RUBENN
This girl is a compete Idiot who needed something else to talk about lmao they already said they aren’t trading him and no one can afford him , the topic is dead already espn is gonna talk about this for 20 years no way Watson is gonna sit out in that case he’ll sit out the 5 years GM nick caserio already said he isn’t getting traded and David Culley came knowing he was gonna be a Texan.
Topsy Kretts
Hasselbeck is a sheep.
tomm2639
If u don't sign the contract and dip ok I trust that they did u wrong, but cry and sign a deal and then turns on the texans for 1 issue, nobody wants a leader like that, can't trust deshaun, good luck whoever gets him
tomm2639
@J Dragon it is, because I've watched the texans games. Y'all just hear about the texans and Deshaun stats. Deshaun is no Patrick Mahomes, he has never shown anything but compensating alot of throwing stats for bad team play
J Dragon
@tomm2639 no bc it isn’t. the texans as an organization ruined the team. how have you(texans) pissed off all THREE of your greatest players in a matter of what 2/3 months maybe more.
tomm2639
@Lifeisagamble Elbmagasiefil earned what losing to KC in a playoff game? Dolphins think he the answer? Good luck trading ur whole team just to get him
tomm2639
@J Dragon both things can be true at the same time, makes no sense why Deshaun doesn't disclose more if it's so much worse
J Dragon
dude no it’s clear the texans are in literally shambles nobody wants to play for a team like that.
D23
Finally ESPN starts talking sense, no one trading anyone just for the sake of it unless they get what they want
Sir Hoopalot
@Thegawd VEGITO!!!?!! he got wanted he wanted, now stop crying and get through it. Period
Thegawd VEGITO!!!?!!
@Sir Hoopalot yea because he counts against the cap whether he playing or not lol so if he truly not going to play for them all they can do is void his contract and get the signing bonus back which I'm sure he will happily give back because he going to get it right back when he signs with the new team lol
Sir Hoopalot
After giving him his money AND release him? Right
ghostly chino
@D23 well deshaun has the leverage because he is superstar and you don’t find players of his caliber asking for a trade, they have to trade him since many people have said he will sit out if they don’t trade him and each day that goes by it’ll get worse, they obviously traded one of his best friends in Hopkins away, traded for a injury prone RB and also didn’t give him any insight on who should be HC
ghostly chino
@just why well if you’ve been following the news on it then you should know stupid😭
Lifeisagamble Elbmagasiefil
Deshaun Watson coming to Miami Dolphins 🐬
Alan Balram
FREE THAT MAN
Matthew Cooper
Yes sir
K1NG_ DIPLOMATS
Lmao the Texans will get annoyed and trade him at some point.
C A P
@Sir Hoopalot there was plenty of strife between the Texans fans and BOB years before that playoff game. That game simply broke the camels back
Sir Hoopalot
@C A P not one lie told 🤕
C A P
@Sir Hoopalot you are willfully ignorant
Sir Hoopalot
@C A P its was no complaints when they were up 24-0 against the chiefs. It’s like everything went left afterwards
C A P
@Sir Hoopalot if he was worth it, then you would have gotten the GM and Coach that you promised him you would. Obviously you dont respect him that much, so hes not really worth that much to you
Vince Lamb
I hate y’all ain’t say that about jj watt.
J Dragon
@oscar vargas ok and? that doesn’t excuse the texans for being a sorry franchise.
saj8
@J Dragon I noticed this, too. I've seen the exact same thing during the Oilers days.
oscar vargas
@Vince Lamb no dude he signed that contract after Hopkins got traded! Look it up.
Vince Lamb
@Air Moon he signed that contract before they traded his number one target and friend too smh
J Dragon
@Air Moon it’s not that he never wanted to be there. it’s that the texans organization is literally collapsing on itself, can y’all not see that even jj himself told watson himself that the texans organization is literally dog water. watson wants to win and the texans clearly are not interested in that, like AT ALL
PrimeNumber19
Watson is never playing for the Texans again even if they refuse to trade him. The man has pride worth more to him than money.
mustluvreggae
@D23 Whatever Dhop wanted or didn’t want - team made a decision based on its best interest. Fine. But certainly wasn’t being loyal to Dhop. So now it’s best player is acting in his best interest. This has never been done before and Watson is using his “leverage “... because of his age and talent. We shall see what happens. If you don’t know- he’d been a fool to not sign the contract. See what’s going on with Dak Prescott who’s getting paid this year... but who knows what the future brings.
D23
@mustluvreggae ik it's probably other things, makes no sense why he'd be butthurt now over a issue that happened before he signed.
D23
@mustluvreggae dhop wanted to be the highest paid wr in the league, they already out of cap space just paying for Deshaun, tunsil and JJ back then. There's only so much u can spend in a salary cap league. So it just wasn't possible to pay dhop, unless u want the other 49 players to be from the practice squad
mustluvreggae
@D23 Btw- from what we’ve heard from the NFL insiders - Deshaun dissatisfaction is not about Dhop trade... other things happened during the season.
mustluvreggae
@D23 the team wasn’t loyal to Dhop- for how hard he’s played for years. TEAM. So you’re beefing about Deshaun should be loyal. It’s business- why you worrying only about one way loyalty. YOU brought it up and I’m pointing out TEXANS disloyalty to one of their prime players
MinePlay 512
The reason they shouldn't trade him is because he is the team's franchise QB. Very high value means teams will have to give up a lot.
gunner 3477
@Warren Buffet Yes 2027 is a long ways away. But the Texans ripping their locker room apart pending how they handle this Watson situation moving forward is just right around the corner.

Here come the race batters running full speed claiming this is racist
Jordyn K. Jones
@Keenan Nash yup. Very true as well.

@D23 not to mention that comparing Watson and Watts situations is not "race baiting." Pointing out the situation is just that, Watt got what he asked for and no one had any issue that he wanted out from a terrible organization while some people seem to be real upset that Watson wants to leave the same team that Watt gave up on. Both Watson and Watt see a bad and unfixable situation and want out... Watt got out and Watson has not... that's just factual.
D23
@Jordyn K. Jones ya he fired prematurely 😂
Jordyn K. Jones
@D23 well, other than the spelling thing, my point is that his comment was the exact thing he's obviously annoyed by. Someone making it a race thing. And considering this was the third comment when the other two had nothing to do with that-he brought it up first. 🤷🏾♂️
Keenan Nash
@D23 at the time i made this comment there were 33 comments on this video... I dont see any comment about Watt on this video so far.

The front office has been messing everything up, they had a good situation 2 years ago but thought they were more than they were.

@Sir Hoopalot Two years ago, one half away from the Superbowl. 2021 season, probably miles away from winning their own division.
